Hokuto no Ken Ongaku-hen I
First soundtrack album from the Hokuto no Ken TV series, released by Canyon Records on November 21, 1984. Sixteen tracks across two sides: the two Crystal King theme songs, “Ai wo Torimodose!!” as the opener and “Yuria… Eien ni” as the closer, plus fourteen background music pieces composed by Nozomu Aoki, including the themes for Kenshiro, Shin, and Yuria.
The record, sold for 2,500 yen, comes in a gatefold sleeve with an obi and a glued insert, the insert featuring liner notes written by Aoki himself. The credited producer is Yoshio Takami from Toei. A cassette edition was released by Pony the same year. Nearly all the music from this album was reissued in 2002 on the French Loga-Rythme CDs, with translated titles.
