Hokuto no Ken (1986 movie): Original Soundtrack Ongaku-hen
Original soundtrack of the 1986 Hokuto no Ken movie, composed by Katsuhisa Hattori, released by Canyon Records on vinyl on March 21, 1986, then on cassette, and on CD on March 20, 1987. Eighteen tracks: sixteen themes by Hattori, from the prologue to the march of the King of Fists’ army, with themes for Rin, Rei, Raoh, and Yuria, and two songs by Kodomo Band, “HEART OF MADNESS” at the heart of the disc and “PURPLE EYES” as the closer.
The back of the CD bears two date codes, one from the original vinyl edition and one from the CD, a year later. The entire album was reissued in 2002 on the French CD “Bande originale du film” by Loga-Rythme.
