Overview “Pachislot Hokuto no Ken, the book of the transmission of secret techniques, volume 2” (パチスロ北斗の拳 奥義継承の書 Vol.2) is the second volume in the pachislot strategy manga series that Takarajimasha dedicated to Sammy's Hokuto no Ken machine, in the Wonderland Comics collection. It continues several series from the first volume, including “Tokyo Pachislot Baby” (東京パチスロベイベー) and “Hibi kore kessen” (日々是決戦), and contains a strategy feature, “Pachislot Hokuto no Ken, grand strategy, volume 2” (パチスロ 北斗の拳 大攻略 Vol.2).

Pachislot strategy manga (パチスロ漫画, or 攻略漫画 when strategy dominates) form a genre of their own in Japan, with their own magazines. Their stories follow players at a specific machine, and each session serves to show how to play it, read its on-screen effects and guess its settings.
