With its Mega Sofubi Advance line, Kaiyodo produced two monumental 70 cm tall busts with a bronze finish, dedicated to Kenshiro and his renegade brother Jagi. Extraordinary pieces, halfway between collectible figures and decorative art objects.

Life-size busts
The Kenshiro bust (MSA-012) reproduces the upper body of the life-size (1/1) Kenshiro that stands proudly at Kaiyodo events and facilities, where it has become an iconic symbol of the studio’s craftsmanship. The Jagi bust (MSA-013) serves as its counterpart, faithfully reproducing even the hideous face concealed beneath his mask. Both stand at approximately 70 cm, a true museum-piece format. The two busts are made from soft vinyl. This choice of material, in keeping with the demanding standards of the Mega Sofubi Advance line, makes it possible to achieve this imposing size while maintaining a reasonable weight, good impact resistance, and a contained price relative to the scale.
A bronze finish by the head of Kaiyodo himself
Rather than a traditional color scheme faithful to the manga, Kaiyodo opted for a bronze-style finish, giving the pieces the appearance of authentic art statues. A detail that adds to the prestige: the master paint job on both busts was carried out by Shuichi Miyawaki, nicknamed “Senmu,” the president of Kaiyodo himself.
The Kenshiro bust (MSA-012) was released in December 2016 at a price of 39,800 yen before tax, followed by the Jagi bust (MSA-013) in June 2017 at 49,800 yen before tax. Two exceptional pieces, among the most imposing ever dedicated to the franchise, designed for the most discerning collectors.
