Heart Of Madness (mini-CD Bourbon)
Eight-centimetre mini-CD offered by the confectionery company Bourbon inside its boxes of lemon candies in 2004, as part of a ten-disc series titled “Natsukashi no Anime Song Collection”, each box containing one of the ten theme songs at random, from Tiger Mask to Ashita no Joe. The Hokuto no Ken disc bears the number BOURBON-007 and reproduces the sleeve of Kodomo Band’s 1986 7-inch single, with both titles printed on it, but the box states that each disc holds a single track: here “Heart Of Madness”, the song from the 1986 film, whose lyrics appear on the back of the sleeve.
Manufactured by Pony Canyon for Bourbon under licence from Coamix, the disc comes with a leaflet presenting the series in a few lines.
