Hokuto no Ken Ongaku-hen II
Second music album from the series, released by Canyon Records on April 21, 1985, at a price of 2,500 yen, in a gatefold sleeve with obi and insert. Eighteen tracks: fourteen background music pieces by Nozomu Aoki, two insert songs performed by Akira Kamiya, the voice of Kenshiro, “Ken -Hokutosei-” and “Kōya no Kaze,” composed and arranged by Ichirō Nitta with lyrics by Yoshiko Miura, and the two Crystal King theme songs in their TV versions.
Two of Aoki’s themes reprise the melodies of the theme songs, “Sorrow” based on “Yuria… Eien ni” and “Battle” based on “Ai wo Torimodose!!”. The back cover also credits Kamiya for a spoken performance in the role of Kenshiro. The insert liner notes are signed by producer Yoshio Takami. A cassette edition was released by Pony the same year, and most of the album’s music was reissued in 2002 on the French Loga-Rythme CDs.
