Pachislot Souten no Ken ~Original Sound Track~
Original soundtrack for the Souten no Ken pachislot machine, released on August 18, 2010 by Wave Master, the audio division of the Sega group. The disc gathers the five songs from the machine, led by “Thrust of God” by Drive Far and “Kiba,” a duet between Andrew W.K. and Marty Friedman, alongside the two Itsco tracks and the ballad “You are the one ~Aoi Tobira~.”
The disc’s liner notes reveal a noteworthy detail: the lyrics for both Drive Far tracks, “Thrust of God” and “You are the one ~Aoi Tobira~,” were written by Tetsuo Hara himself. Production was handled by the Sammy sound team under the direction of Go Iwasaki (Wave Master), with mastering at AST Mastering Studios, and the songs are complemented by 24 ambient tracks from the machine, including eight “premium” sequences. A curious detail: the jacket slips in two typos, “Trust Of God” in the liner notes and “Determinaiton” on track 6.
