Souten no Ken Regenesis – Original Soundtrack
The original soundtrack of Souten no Ken Regenesis, composed by Masatoshi Nishimura of the group FENCE OF DEFENSE, was never sold separately. The CD was only available in the Blu-ray box set vol. 4 (box set reference GNXA-2154, released on January 30, 2019 by NBC Universal Entertainment Japan), as a first press bonus, alongside the slipcase illustrated by Tetsuo Hara. A situation the franchise’s discography knows well, similar to the original soundtrack of the game Shin Hokuto Musō, which was also exclusive to a box set.
The official announcement specified that the track selection had been curated by Nishimura himself. The disc bears the pressing reference GNXA-215403, and its booklet credits mastering done at Sony Music Studios in Tokyo. Its 29 tracks feature the character themes: Kenshiro, Yasaka, Shimeon, and Erika in three variations, from the “Heart” theme to “Reunion.”
