Thrust of God / You are the one ~Aoi Tobira~

Musical theme of the CR Souten no Ken pachinko machine, “Thrust of God” is performed by Drive Far. Its distinctive feature lies in its author: the lyrics are written by Tetsuo Hara himself, who also drew the jacket artwork, a portrait of Kenshiro Kasumi.

The single was released on December 23, 2009 on Nayutawave Records, a label under the Universal Music group, in three simultaneous editions. The two limited editions include a DVD containing the music video in a “Story Director’s Cut” version and a CG animation version, both produced by Kenji Sonoda; edition A also comes with a Raryūban pocket watch. The B-side, “You are the one ~Aoi Tobira~,” rounds out the disc.

Of note for the French readership, Drive Far counts among its members Julien, a French vocalist, who handles the singing on the CD’s lead track.
