Bat , a young pilferer who noticed Kenshiro's strength, builds a buggy and hits the road with him. Kenshiro saves an old man attacked by KING, the armed gang that rules the region. But the seeds the old man had spent six months finding to bring back to his village are stolen from him. Bat's plan allows them to recover the seeds and escort the old man back to his village. After Kenshiro's departure,
