The iconic faces of the franchise
The line brings together six iconic characters, each presented with the name of their fighting school. Among them are Kenshiro, heir to Hokuto Shinken, facing Raoh, the conqueror of the end of the century. Alongside them, Shin of Nanto Koshu Ken, Rei of Nanto Suicho Ken, Toki of Hokuto Ujo Ken, and Yuria round out this tight cast centered on the central figures of the story.
Finding them today
Sold for two hundred yen per capsule at release, this Bandai series stands apart from the later Kaiyodo lines with a simpler finish, faithful to the gashapon spirit of its era. It can be found today on Yahoo Auctions, Mercari, and at Suruga-ya, a testament to the saga’s first foray into capsule form at the turn of the 2000s.
