CCP (Character Contents Production) is one of the biggest Japanese names in sofvi, or soft vinyl. A veteran of Ultraman and Kinnikuman (for which it has produced some 150 references within its CMC line), the manufacturer has dedicated an ambitious series to Hokuto no Ken since 2020: Hokuto Kyukyoku Zokei (北斗究極造形, “the Ultimate Sculpture of Hokuto”), which aims to reproduce Tetsuo Hara’s very linework in three dimensions, his thick outlines, his tension, down to the dust and blood.

Three finishes, three levels of immersion
The entire series is built around three finishes at increasing price points. The initial design (初期設定版) uses the character’s standard reference colors, the manga version (劇中版) adds dust, oil stains, and grime reproducing the brushwork of gekiga, and the battle version (激闘版), at the top of the range, features blood marks applied by hand, making each piece one of a kind.
First wave, Raoh versus Fudo
Launched in 2020, the first wave tackles one of the most intense scenes in the manga, the confrontation between Raoh and Fudo of the Mountains. Raoh is available without his helmet or wearing his Ken-Oh helmet (approximately 22.5 cm), facing a Fudo with giant-sized proportions (approximately 26.5 cm), all in soft vinyl.
The EX series, special variants
Alongside the numbered waves, CCP offers an EX series of variants in special colors or manga colors. The most striking is undoubtedly Fudo “Shito ver.” (死闘, fight to the death), which depicts the giant’s final moments pierced by the arrows of Ken-Oh’s army, with blood streams applied by hand, unique on each piece.
Second wave, Jagi and his motorcycle
The second wave features Jagi in his most iconic pose, the “Say my name!!” scene. The third of the four Hokuto brothers is available solo (approximately 18 cm) or with his motorcycle (approximately 28 cm long), giving CCP the opportunity to deploy its famous oil stains on the machine. The sets with motorcycle are among the most imposing pieces in the series.
Third wave, Toki and the duel under the Death Star
Released in the summer of 2022 for its soft vinyl versions, the third wave features Toki during his final duel against Raoh, when the Death Star shines above the two brothers and Toki abandons his fist of gentleness for the Go no Ken, the fist of strength. The piece exists in two outfits, the clothed version faithful to the reference illustration and the “Go no Ken” version with bare torso, clothes torn by the battle (approximately 22.5 cm).
The Takumi range, the pinnacle in resin
Above the soft vinyl tier, the battle versions are available in a “Takumi” (匠仕様, “master-craftsman specification”) variant, made from polyurethane resin and polystone, which CCP describes as the closest replica to the original prototype. Each piece is produced and painted to order, with lead times that can reach three years between pre-order and delivery. The Jagi and motorcycle Takumi, at 83,800 yen (approximately 500 euros), is the crown jewel of the catalog, halfway between a collectible figure and a workshop sculpture.
