An unapologetic reimagining
Maestro Union takes Tetsuo Hara’s manga Kenshiro as a starting point, but departs from it boldly to deliver a dark, baroque reimagining. Gone is the simple leather jacket: the character is fitted with heavy gem-studded pauldrons, chains, and an intricately crafted armor, in an aesthetic far removed from the original imagery. The face and build remain recognizable, but the overall design clearly falls into the realm of an artist’s redesign rather than a faithful adaptation, a proposition that will divide as much as it will captivate.
The figure stands approximately 170 mm tall and is molded in PVC and ABS, with a detailed paint finish on the musculature and costume textures.
Articulation and accessories
Designed for dynamic posing, the figure features a highly articulated construction whose range of motion has been tuned to effortlessly reproduce the most iconic fighting stances from the series. The set comes with a full complement of accessories: one head, six pairs of interchangeable hands, a jacket, an arm guard, a nunchaku, and two aura effects. Among the latter is the unmissable Hokuto Hyakuretsu Ken effect, allowing collectors to recreate on their shelf the most famous flurry of blows in all of Hokuto Shinken.
