Around 2010, Sega released under the Premium Figure label a series of vinyl statues simply titled Ultimate Scenery, approximately 20 to 30 cm depending on the character, sculpted on behalf of Kaiyodo. A tight series that allowed itself only two faces, those of the rival brothers.

Violent Emotion and Silence, on repeat
Kenshiro opens the series at Vol.1 under the subtitle Violent Emotion, in the pose of his most famous battle cry. Raoh answers him at Vol.2 with Silence, fist raised. Rather than expanding its cast, the series chose to delve deeper into the duel between the two brothers: Vol.3 offers Raoh in a repaint version. Vol.4 brings Kenshiro back on a new base, and Vol.5 closes the series with a new Raoh.
These same figures enjoyed a second life in 2013, on the occasion of the series’ thirtieth anniversary. Sega redistributed them as prizes in a commemorative lottery, the Sega Lucky Kuji, in slightly reworked color schemes. The sculptures are identical to those of the Ultimate Scenery; only the packaging and a few paint nuances distinguish this anniversary edition.
Finding them today
These statues can be found on Yahoo Auctions, Mercari, and through Western retailers specializing in Japanese vintage goods, at prices that remain very reasonable for the size of the pieces. Not to be confused with Sega’s other forays into the license, which we detail in our dedicated pages.
