Jissen Pachinko Hisshōhō! CR Hokuto no Ken (実戦パチンコ必勝法! CR北斗の拳)
Gameplay System
Unlike the other titles in the series, which reproduce pachislot machines, this one simulates a pachinko machine, the typically Japanese vertical ball game. It brings together two versions of the machine: “Denshō,” centered on the battle bonus, and “Tomo,” focused on Raoh. The software retains the usual features of the product line: data management tools useful for practice and numerous modes allowing players to rewatch the machine’s animated sequences.
Of Note
Published by Sega based on the Sammy machine, this title was sold for 5,040 yen. It clearly distinguishes between the two Japanese gaming worlds that are often confused: pachinko (balls) and pachislot (reel machines), Hokuto no Ken having given rise to machines in both categories. Like the rest of the product line, this is a simulation intended for practice, not an action game based on the manga.
