Gameplay

The software replicates the operation of the original pachislot machine, which the player operates just like in an arcade parlor. It includes analysis and adjustment tools designed to study the machine’s behavior, as well as a mode that provides access to the animations and music associated with the title, including the theme “Ai wo Torimodose !!”. The limited first-print edition came with a dedicated controller replicating the controls of a real machine.

Published by Sammy, the manufacturer of the original machine, this title inaugurates a long series of home pachislot and pachinko Hokuto no Ken simulators on consoles. The arcade machine it is based on, released in 2003, was a huge success in Japan and revived the franchise’s popularity in the pachislot world.
