Game system
The machine is built around a reinvention of the “Tenki,” the iconic golden sequence of the series. During a confrontation, Kasumi Kenshiro smokes his cigarette and, the moment he finishes it, the twin dragon mechanism activates and the screen turns entirely gold. A variant can occur at any time, without waiting for a fight. The main mode, the “Souken,” runs for one hundred rounds, and the most sought-after bonus bears the hero’s Shanghainese nickname, Yan Wang.
Of note
The sequences draw extensively from the story: the white demon’s assault, the teaching of the fist, the assassin from the underground, the great naval battle of the Qing Bang. Two narrative sequences develop the Seito’s grudge and the Tento Seiinken. The confrontations pit Kenshiro against Liu Feiyan, Zhang Lieshan and other rivals, with the “Tenju no Gi” remaining the ultimate sequence.
Variants
A lighter version, the Digihane P Souten no Ken Souryu, was put into service on April 18, 2022.
