The main winning sequence is called “Shanghai Yugi,” the Shanghai game. A specialized zone, the “Souryu no Toki,” determines the starting bet, while the “Souryumon,” the gate of the two dragons, serves as a chance zone. The “Tenju no Gi” remains the top sequence, staying true to the series’ tradition.

This specialized zone has two modes named after the sky: “Seiten,” the calm sky, where accumulation is distributed evenly, and “Koten,” the raging sky, where it is concentrated. The naming echoes the very title of the work, the “fist of the blue sky.” The Raryuban motif appears for the first time on the center reel, whereas it had previously been limited to the side reels.

The opponents are ranked by increasing prestige: Zhang Taiyan, Liu Feiyan, then Yasaka and Shimeon at the same level. The presence of Shimeon, a character created for the Regenesis anime and absent from the original manga, signals the machine’s shift in graphic source material.
