Hokuto no Ken, Volume 18

Synopsis Kenshiro and his companions only manage to repel Falco at the cost of the Han brothers' sacrifice. But in the Central Capital, Governor Jakoh, who diverts the Celestial Emperor's authority for his own benefit, gives the masters of Gento Koken, Falco foremost among them, despicable orders. And so begins the battle of Falco against Kenshiro, Gento against Hokuto. Meanwhile, Rin, Bat, and Ein infiltrate the Central Capital to save the Celestial Emperor. Ein attempts to strike down Jakoh, but cannot bring himself to kill the only man who knows where the Emperor is, and finds himself cast into the underground. The one held there, in a cavern, was the Celestial Emperor, Rui. The bond uniting Rin and Rui is then revealed. The Capital gradually collapses, and Ein sacrifices his life to save Rui, Rin, and the others. Jakoh is struck down by Falco, but his son Jasco kidnaps Rin and takes to the sea to escape...
