COSPA, a Japanese specialist in licensed textiles, unveils a line of clothing and bags from the Hokuto no Ken – Fist of the North Star anime, including a glow-in-the-dark printed t-shirt. Pre-orders are open until September 20, with a planned release in late November 2026.
“The Man with Seven Scars,” glow-in-the-dark version
The centerpiece of the line plays on Kenshiro‘s most recognizable attribute: the seven scars on his chest are printed with phosphorescent ink, which absorbs daylight to glow for a time in the dark. The t-shirt is available in two colors, indigo and ink black, from S to XL, at ¥4,400 (approximately $27).
Four t-shirts for four quotes
The rest of the collection features the lines that made the series famous. The Kenshiro model displays his “You are already dead,” the Jagi one his “Say my name!,” a third features the series logo, and the last, more unexpected, highlights “the seed cry” (種モミじゃ～種モミじゃ～) from the iconic scene with Misumi. All are sold at ¥3,300 (approximately $19), from S to XL.
The manufacturer highlights a thick fabric of approximately 190 g/m², dense enough to be worn on its own, tubular knitting without side seams that prevents twisting during washing, a ribbed collar reinforced with a neck tape, and double topstitching at the collar and armholes.
A lightweight jacket for summer
The line is rounded out with a Jagi hooded jacket in black technical fabric: lightweight, quick-drying, and featuring UV protection, it is available from M to XXL at ¥6,380 (approximately $36).
The shoulder tote bag
The first of the line’s two bags, this tote in thick black canvas (40 × 34 × 13 cm, ¥2,200) comes in a Kenshiro version and a Jagi version. Its strap is long enough for shoulder carry, the opening is secured with a snap button, and the interior has a pocket for small items.
The large tote bag
Larger (40 × 48 × 15 cm, ¥1,980) and also available in two designs, this second model with a plain back focuses on capacity, for daily commutes as well as outings.
Practical information
Pre-orders are open on the official COSPA store, both online and in-store, until September 20, 2026. After that date, orders remain possible while supplies last. The release is planned for late November 2026. Pre-orders go through the COSPA store, which ships only within Japan, but these items will also be available on Amazon.co.jp, a simpler option for European buyers.
