From September 24 to October 19, 2026, Suntory vending machines across Japan will stock a lemon soda can dressed in the colours of the anime Hokuto no Ken – Fist of the North Star. Ten labels handed out at random, an iconic line on each, and a keychain up for grabs for the lucky few.
Ten characters, ten lines
Each label pairs a character with one of their best-known lines. Kenshiro tells his opponent he is already dead, Raoh has no regrets about his life, Toki reminds us that still water masters the torrent, Jagi demands that his name be spoken, Rei asks what colour his enemies’ blood is, and Shin hails an age where might makes right. Yuria, Bat and Mamiya round out the set. The tenth label goes to a mohawked thug whose trademark cackle ends, this time, on nothing more than a lemon soda.

A peel-off label and a keychain to win
The label peels cleanly off the can and can be kept as a sticker. Some cans also come with an acrylic keychain shaped like the can, in limited numbers. Suntory gives no indication of how many cans are winners or how many keychains are in circulation.
Vending machines only, at 900 yen
The can sells for 900 yen, a price with no relation to that of an ordinary drink, which puts it firmly in collectible territory. It is available only from Suntory vending machines, with no online sales. The brand has published a map of sales points, with stock levels updated daily from September 25. Suntory warns that release times vary from one machine to the next.
