Announced in September, SpiceSeed’s Falco statue is now up for pre-order. Named “Falco the Golden” (金色のファルコ), it joins the Japanese maker’s Hokuto no Ken line. Pre-orders are open for just three days, until Sunday, October 25, at 7:59 p.m. Japan time, which is 6:59 a.m. Eastern Time.
Two Capes to Choose From
The heir to the Gentō Kōken stands tall, fists clenched, in golden armor. The statue comes with two interchangeable capes. The first hangs open over the armor, showing the shoulder guards, with a cross on the back. The second wraps around the figure, held by a brooch, with a golden sun on the back.
The statue is about 31.5 cm tall. It is made of resin, painted by hand, and comes with its base. The sculptor is Ken Matsuura.
Price and Shipping
Falco the Golden costs ¥87,780 including tax, plus ¥1,200 for shipping within Japan. Orders are placed on the SpiceSeed online store. Orders cannot be canceled. Delivery is expected about ten months after ordering, with no guaranteed date.
