We previously introduced you to the life-size statue of Kenshiro covered in gold leaf, unveiled in the presence of Buronson at the Great Gold Exhibition (大黄金展) at the Matsuzakaya Nagoya. The department store actually features a second piece dedicated to Hokuto no Ken during the same event, this time available for purchase: a Kenshiro figurine entirely crafted in pure 24-karat gold, priced at 5,368,000 ¥ tax included, approximately 31,500 euros.
Kenshiro in pure solid K24 gold
Unlike the life-size statue, which is merely covered with gold leaf applied to its surface, this figurine is entirely crafted in solid gold. Titled “K24 Hokuto no Ken Kenshiro” (K24 北斗の拳 ケンシロウ), it depicts the hero in an iconic pose, fist thrust forward. Its specifications:

At the current rate per gram of K24 gold (around 15,200 ¥ in May 2026), the 60 grams represent an intrinsic value of approximately 912,000 ¥ (≈ 5,350 euros). The rest of the price covers the artisanal sculpting work, the official Coamix license, packaging, and the distributor’s margin. The piece therefore retains, at minimum, the value of its metal in case of resale, a classic argument for this type of object at the crossroads of collectible figurine and investment product.
This dual Hokuto no Ken presence at the Great Gold Exhibition, a monumental statue on one side and a solid gold figurine on the other, confirms the franchise’s move upmarket toward the luxury segment on the occasion of its 40th anniversary. A striking contrast with accessible merchandise such as the Saku Design Manhole pin badges at 1,500 ¥, which cover the other end of the fan spectrum.
As a reminder, the Great Gold Exhibition runs from June 3 to 8, 2026 on the 7th floor of the Matsuzakaya Nagoya, free admission, from 10 AM to 7 PM (closing at 6 PM on the last day).
