Founded in Tokyo, Medicos has been known since 2009 for its articulated figures in the ~210 mm format, featuring some of the most refined articulation on the market.
Medicos and the Super Action Statue: the brand’s signature
The Super Action Statue (超像可動, Chōzō Kadō) line is built on three principles: extreme articulation allowing the recreation of every fighting technique, sculpts supervised by the series’ author to ensure faithfulness to the original design, and the systematic inclusion of Effect Pieces (combat effect parts) to stage the iconic attacks. This last point makes the HNK line one of the most dynamic in Japan’s articulated figure market.
The Hokuto no Ken line is currently the second largest range in the Super Action Statue series, right behind JoJo. Medicos has gradually expanded the catalog with the manga’s main antagonists and continues to reissue its key pieces to meet the demand generated by the 2026 anime.
News: Raoh reissue
Pre-orders for the Super Action Statue Raoh reissue have been open since May 1st on the Medicos Online Shop, priced at ¥9,800 before tax. This 2026 version stands 210 mm tall and includes several interchangeable heads as well as effect parts to recreate the devastating strike of the King of Fists. Wonder Festival exclusive editions
Medicos regularly takes advantage of Wonder Festival (Tokyo and Shanghai) to unveil highly sought-after exclusive versions. The HNK line has seen several limited editions released through lottery draws or in very small quantities. Among the most notable:
- Kenshiro Swarovski Shanghai WF Version, featuring Swarovski crystal inlays
- Kenshiro Crystal Limited Edition (WF2024 Winter)
- Raoh Crystal Limited Edition (WF2024 Summer)
These editions are snapped up on the secondary market at prices far above their original retail price, and they never come back as reissues.
