Chinese manufacturer Maestro Union, known for its FuRay Planet line of 1/12 articulated figures, has just revealed its version of Kenshiro at the same scale. The first images circulated yesterday on Weibo and within the international collector community.
A 1/12 articulated action figure
The figure features the classic Kenshiro design: torn jacket, muscular torso with the seven scars in the shape of the Big Dipper, baggy pants, and his signature hairstyle. At an estimated height of 15 to 16 cm, it falls within the standard range for high-end 1/12 action figures.
Accessories confirmed or anticipated by the community include 4 facial expressions (serene, angry, taunting, and a special expression) as well as 5 types of hands (closed fists, open hands, etc.), a level of accessorization expected for this price segment.
This is the second Hokuto no Ken figure from Maestro Union after Jagi, unveiled during a previous presentation. The line thus appears to be gradually building around the iconic characters of the series.
Maestro Union, a rising name
Maestro Union made a name for itself through its original FuRay Planet line, 1/12 articulated anthropomorphic creatures that found notable success among Western collectors via distributors like BigBadToyStore. Their entry into the Hokuto no Ken license is significant: the manufacturer is positioning its range as an accessible alternative to premium lines (Storm Collectibles) and Medicos’ Super Action Statue figures.
Price and release date
Maestro Union has not yet officially announced the price or release date. The first images and information come from Wonder Festival Shanghai and Weibo posts. An update is expected on the manufacturer’s official channels in the coming weeks.
