The Hokuto no Ken 2026 anime is directed by Hiroshi Maeda at studio TMS Entertainment. It is an entirely new adaptation of the manga for the franchise’s 40th anniversary, with a brand new voice cast led by Shunsuke Takeuchi as Kenshiro, Koji Yusa as Shin, and Saori Hayami as Yuria. The music is composed by Yuki Hayashi, known for My Hero Academia, and the band Alexandros performs the opening “Hallelujah”. The ending is a remix of “Ai wo Torimodose !!” by Toshl, a direct nod to the original 1984 anime.
