The helmet, centerpiece of the figure
Jagi’s helmet is the central element of this Chozokando articulated figure, and Medicos has treated it with the care it deserves. The helmeted head is fully removable, allowing you to easily switch from a helmeted pose to a helmetless one. An additional head with Jagi’s bare face is also included, faithfully reproducing the scars and tortured expression of the character as drawn by Tetsuo Hara in the original manga.
The seven scars on his chest, which Jagi self-inflicted to usurp Kenshiro’s identity, are reproduced with precision. An important detail for fans who wish to recreate the character’s revelation scenes.
The accessories, faithful to the character’s spirit
The Jagi Chozokando figure comes with a complete set of accessories. First and foremost, a pump-action shotgun, Jagi’s weapon of choice and a symbol of his underhanded fighting style that clashes with the code of honor of the other fighters in the series. Numerous interchangeable hands allow you to reproduce different combat poses or hold the included accessories. Tetsuo Hara’s supervision ensures that each accessory matches exactly what appears in the manga.
Who is Jagi in Hokuto no Ken?
Jagi is the third of the four Hokuto brothers, after Raoh and Toki. Unlike his brothers, he was never designated as the successor of Hokuto Shinken, a humiliation he took very poorly. Consumed by jealousy toward Kenshiro, he orchestrated behind the scenes the events that led to Shin’s betrayal and the kidnapping of Yuria.
His character represents the dark side of the Hokuto Shinken philosophy: a man who possesses the techniques but not the inner mastery, who compensates with cunning and gratuitous violence. His helmet, worn to hide the scars that Kenshiro inflicted on him during their first confrontation, has become one of the most iconic designs in the entire series.
The famous line “Ore no na wo itte miro !!” (Say my name!!) is one of the most quoted in all of Hokuto no Ken. Jagi remains one of the most beloved secondary characters in the international fandom despite his relatively short presence in the manga.
The Chozokando Hokuto no Ken collection
The Chozokando series by Medicos Entertainment is the benchmark for high-end Hokuto no Ken articulated figures. Each piece is supervised by Tetsuo Hara, offers advanced articulation, and a substantial set of accessories. Characters already available in the collection include Kenshiro, Raoh, Sauza, Rey, Toki, and soon Juuza in May 2026. Jagi thus completes the quartet of Hokuto brothers in the collection.
