The animated spin-off Hokuto no Ken – Kenoh gun Zako-tachi no Banka (北斗の拳 拳王軍ザコたちの挽歌), those short and comedic episodes centered on the daily lives of Raoh’s soldiers, is back for a second season. The official account has just revealed the broadcast date, along with a new teaser and a new key visual.
Season 2 dated for July 6, 2026
The second season of the spin-off will premiere on Monday, July 6, 2026 in Japan. Here are the broadcast details:
- AT-X: every Monday at 8:00 PM (reruns on Wednesday at 8:00 AM and Friday at 2:00 PM)
- TOKYO MX: every Monday at 9:54 PM
- Progressive streaming on Anime Times and various platforms
The season’s key visual and a new trailer (the second one, in a long version) were revealed for the occasion. According to the official announcement, many familiar characters from the manga will make an appearance in this new batch of episodes, which, for the underlings of the Ken-Oh army, is “both exciting and terrifying”… A phrase that perfectly sums up the spirit of the series: seeing the legendary figures of Hokuto no Ken show up never bodes well for the small fry of the apocalypse.
As a reminder, this spin-off is loosely inspired by the manga with an offbeat perspective, following Nobu and his companions, those anonymous soldiers of Raoh’s Army who also have their own little routines and everyday problems.
