Bat is accosted by members of the Snakes, a violent gang, and escapes thanks to the intervention of young Sera, who lives on the outskirts. The town is contested between Junk's Snakes and Baron's Scorpions. Joker orders them to join forces to take down Kenshiro. The Scorpions pretend to obey, but plan to ally with Kenshiro to annihilate the Snakes and rule the town alone. Kenshiro accepts their honeyed proposal: what is his true intention?
