Modeler GEKOKUJYOU devoted several garage kits to Souten no Ken, handcrafted pieces showcased at Wonder Festival, the major Japanese modeling convention organized by Kaiyodo. None of them were ever commercially released; they are display-only works, created under the “one-day license” system that allows creators to exhibit derivative works for the duration of the event.

Kasumi Kenshiro, 1/6 scale
The first piece depicts Kasumi Kenshiro at 1/6 scale, based on the cover illustration of chapter 100 of Souten no Ken, “Bugeisha tarie zu!!”, published in the manga’s tenth volume. The piece is entirely handmade: a wooden armature assembled with cyanoacrylate glue, over which the modeler built his sculpture using Sculpey polymer clay. After painting, the dragon patterns and garment lining designs were reproduced as waterslide decals and then applied to the piece.
Liu Zongwu, 1/6 scale
The second piece depicts Liu Zongwu (劉宗武), successor of the Hokuto Ryukaken, based on his first appearance scene in chapter 137 of the manga, “Maimodori shi otoko!!”, published in the thirteenth volume. Completed in July 2007, the sculpture measures 415 mm in height, base included. Its body was cast in resin from a prototype modeled in Sculpey and mounted on a wooden base. It stands out for its two interchangeable heads, one wearing a military cap and the other bare-headed, offering two presentations of the character.
Showcased at the Summer 2007 and Winter 2008 editions of Wonder Festival, these sculptures never went beyond the display piece stage, much to the regret of collectors who praised their level of detail.
