This is arguably the most playful item ever produced from Hokuto no Ken. Publisher Qualia turned the manga’s warriors into pen holders, each figure stretching its arms above its head to cradle a pencil. And the line’s slogan, of course, riffs on the series’ iconic catchphrase: “you are already dead” becomes “your pen is already set down.”

Released in August 2024, the series consists of seven figures distributed in capsules at five hundred yen. Six characters are shown, while a seventh piece remains secret. Where many gadget lines settle for the marquee names, Qualia surprises with its picks. Alongside Kenshiro and the emperor Souther, you’ll find Jagi and his riveted helmet, the wise Toki, the serene Shu, and above all the impostor Amiba.
