The ODDGOOD × Hokuto no Ken pop-up store opens its doors in Harajuku this Friday, October 23. Over the previous week, the brand revealed, one by one, the eleven pieces of the collection, which we covered earlier this month. ODDGOOD also showed three garments hand-painted by Tetsuo Hara, up for grabs in a prize draw.
Three pieces painted by Tetsuo Hara
The prizes are a cap, a jacket, and a hoodie. Tetsuo Hara painted directly on the fabric with a brush, then signed each piece. They show Kenshiro and Jagi, splashed with red.

Photos from the studio show the manga artist at work, brush in hand, surrounded by tubes of paint. He also poses for the campaign in the collection’s varsity jacket.
ODDGOOD thanks the artist in its announcement. The brand hopes these drawings will speak to longtime fans as much as to people discovering the series through this collection.
To enter, buy at least one item, either at the pop-up or from the online store. Each receipt or order number counts as one entry, submitted through the form on the official website by November 21 at 11:59 p.m. Japan time. The prize cannot be chosen. Only the three winners will be contacted by email, in mid-December. Keep your receipt or confirmation email.
Eleven pieces in seven days
Day one opened with two white T-shirts built around the manga’s death cries, HIDEBU and ABESHI. The back features the English title of the series, Fist of the North Star.

Day two paired Kenshiro and Yuria. The Kenshiro T-shirt, washed black, shows him mid-punch. The Yuria T-shirt shows her portrait in pink on a cream background.

Day three revealed the Jagi cap, with the character’s helmet embroidered on the front.

Two heavyweight hoodies came next. One bears the red silhouette of Devil Rebirth, the other has seven holes standing in for Kenshiro’s seven scars.

Day five was devoted to the “NANI!?” pullover, in washed blue fleece.

Day six unveiled the jeans, with seven holes down one leg, and the studded varsity jacket.

The brown leather travel bag wrapped up the reveal on day seven.

A sticker for the first 500 customers
An exclusive sticker, featuring Kenshiro smashing the ODDGOOD logo with a punch, goes to the first 500 customers. It is handed out at the pop-up and slipped into online orders while supplies last. The pop-up runs at ROOM MATE HARAJUKU until October 26, and online sales start on October 27.
