A Sculpture Supervised by Tetsuo Hara
The sculpture was created by Sato Ryuta under the direct supervision of Tetsuo Hara. It is this collaboration that makes the Chozokando collection so strong: each figure is approved by the original artist, guaranteeing absolute fidelity to the proportions, expressions, and details of the work. The Jûza articulated figure is no exception.
The 180 mm size places Jûza slightly above the other figures in the series such as Kenshiro (175 mm) or Rey (175 mm), which accurately reflects the imposing build of the character in the manga.
Accessories Worthy of the Wandering Cloud
The Jûza Chozokando figure comes with 3 interchangeable heads with different expressions to recreate various scenes from the manga. But it is the additional accessories that truly set this piece apart.
Included are hands reproducing the Gekiheki Haisui-sho technique, Jûza’s signature technique that involves absorbing impacts in his back to redirect them toward the opponent. Even more striking, the designers have included a hand holding a bottle of alcohol and a meat bone, two accessories that perfectly capture the character’s vagabond lifestyle. These details allow collectors to recreate Jūza’s introduction scenes in the manga with rare precision.
Who Is Jûza in Hokuto no Ken?
Jûza is one of the members of the Five Stars of Nanto, five elite warriors sworn to protect Yuria. Nicknamed the Wandering Cloud, he refuses all authority and lives by his own rules, wandering from village to village despite the nuclear apocalypse that has ravaged the world.
Behind this facade of a pleasure-seeking vagabond lies one of the most formidable fighters in the manga. His unique martial style, inspired by the fluidity of a cloud impossible to grasp, allows him to stand up to Raoh himself in one of the most memorable fights in the series. His sacrifice to protect his companions remains one of the most striking scenes in the Five Stars of Nanto arc.

The official pre-order period on the Medicos Online Shop ended in October 2025.
