In 2006, Kaiyodo dedicated a bust collection to the Nanto Rokuseiken, the six masters of the Nanto stars. A compact-format series that extends the universe of the Hokuto no Ken busts.

The six stars of Nanto
The collection brings together the six masters of the Nanto Rokuseiken: Rei (Nanto Suicho Ken), Yuria (the last general), Yuda (Nanto Koshu Ken), Shin (Nanto Koju Ken), Souther (Nanto Hou-ou Ken) and Shu (Nanto Hakuro Ken). The pieces were released in staggered fashion: Rei, Yuria and Yuda on August 25, 2006, followed by Shin, Souther and Shu on September 15, 2006, at a price of approximately 4,500 yen per bust.
A display stand to complete
The standout feature of the series lies in its modular base: each bust comes with a fragment of a display stand, and it is by bringing all six characters together that you assemble the full combined display stand. A gimmick that encourages collectors to complete the collection in order to reconstruct the entire Nanto Rokuseiken on a single base.
Sculpture and finish
These painted polystone busts are the work of sculptor Ken Matsuura, who also created the 1/6 scale busts of Kenshiro and Raoh. The coloring was supervised by Takanori Yatake. A repainted version, known as “Pro-Finisher,” was also released. Non-articulated finished products, these busts rank among the finest Kaiyodo series.
