The opening theme of the Hokuto no Ken – Fist of the North Star anime is now available as a digital single. “Hallelujah”, performed by the Japanese rock band Alexandros, has been streamable on all platforms since April 29, 2026. The creditless OP video is also available on YouTube.
Alexandros: Who Are They?
Formed in 2010 and signed with UniversalJ since March 2015, Alexandros is one of Japan’s most popular alternative rock bands. The group consists of four members, with Yohei Kawakami on vocals and guitar. Kawakami expressed a strong personal connection to the original work, stating that the manga taught him the meaning of strength during his youth.
“Hallelujah” the Single
Previewed at the AnimeJapan 2026 event with the creditless OP video, “Hallelujah” stands out as an opening theme tailor-made for the post-apocalyptic universe of Hokuto no Ken. The digital single is available on all the usual streaming platforms.
