The official website hokuto-anime.com has just published the announcement for episode 10 of the anime Hokuto no Ken – Fist of the North Star 2026. Titled “Renaissance Diabolique” (悪魔の化身, Devil Rebirth), it will air on Friday, May 29 on Prime Video. After Toyo’s death, Kenshiro enters a vengeful fury, while Jackal, terrified, plays his last card by releasing a legendary monster imprisoned in a penitentiary.

Kenshiro burns with immeasurable rage at the vile atrocities that Jackal inflicted on Toyo. Swearing vengeance, he gradually tracks down Jackal and his gang. Cornered by Kenshiro’s relentless pursuit and consumed by fear, Jackal, in a state of panic, releases “Devil Rebirth”, the incarnation of the demon who had been rotting away in a prison.

Devil Rebirth (デビルリバース) is one of the most iconic antagonists in the manga. A giant with superhuman strength, his nightmarish appearance and cruelty make him a living legend of the post-apocalyptic world. The manga presents him as a being so dangerous that he had been locked away in an abandoned penitentiary, where no one dared to venture.
By releasing this creature, Jackal definitively confirms his role as a coward. True to his principle of “never fight a man stronger than yourself,” he chooses to unleash a monster in his place to face Kenshiro. But Devil Rebirth will be just another step in the relentless hunt that the heir of Hokuto Shinken has sworn to carry out to the end, alongside Bat and Rin, to avenge Toyo and the orphan village.
