“You’re already typing.” Hokuto Shinken comes to your desk! The official shop Colleize opens pre-orders for a gaming product line featuring the colors of the Hokuto no Ken – Fist of the North Star anime: two mechanical keyboards and two desk mats in limited edition.
Kenshiro and Raoh gaming keyboards
Two limited edition keyboards are offered, each bearing the image of one of the Hokuto brothers: a Kenshiro model in Japanese layout (JIS) and a Raoh model in American layout (US), sold for 16,500 yen each, tax included (approximately $1 USD). The product descriptions don’t lack humor: Kenshiro’s opens with a delightful “You’re already typing” (お前はもう打っている), a play on the most iconic line from the series, while Raoh’s quotes his legendary “I have no regrets in my life.”
Far from a simple licensed gadget, these are genuine gaming-oriented mechanical keyboards: an 8,000 Hz polling rate worthy of high-end models (esports-level responsiveness), hot-swappable mechanical switches, RGB backlighting, and PBT keycaps with dye-sublimation printing for wear resistance. The lowered front profile relieves wrist strain during long sessions. Each model measures approximately 44 cm wide and weighs 1.07 kg, built with ABS resin and aluminum alloy.
Two matching desk mats
The lineup is rounded out by two desk mats in a generous 600 × 350 mm format, large enough to accommodate both keyboard and mouse: one dedicated to Raoh, the other featuring original anime artwork, priced at 3,850 yen each, tax included (approximately $1 USD). Made of polyurethane with a water-repellent surface, non-slip base, and stitched edges, they are designed for long gaming or work sessions.
Pre-orders open until July 31
Pre-orders are open on the official Colleize shop until July 31, 2026, with delivery expected in late December 2026. Each pre-order comes with a bonus postcard. A note for collectors outside Japan: since the shop only ships within Japanese territory, you will need to use a proxy shipping service to get your hands on them.
