FuRyu announces a Noodle Stopper Figure of Maeda Keiji from the manga Hana no Keiji – Kumo no Kanata ni by Tetsuo Hara. The figure is scheduled for summer 2026 in crane game arcades in Japan.

The first official images show Maeda Keiji sitting in a relaxed position, bare-chested, wearing a simple white hakama, against a backdrop of cherry blossoms. The pose perfectly captures the free-spirited and unpredictable nature of the character, one of the most eccentric samurai of the Sengoku era, made famous by Tetsuo Hara’s manga published from 1990 to 1993.
The Noodle Stopper is FuRyu’s prize figure line originally designed to serve as a lid weight on instant ramen cups, a format that has become iconic in Japan, distinguished by its seated pose and compact dimensions, ideal for a desk or shelf.
An Active License for the 35th Anniversary
The announcement is part of the momentum surrounding the 35th anniversary of Hana no Keiji celebrated in 2025 and 2026, with an anniversary website, exhibitions, and collaborations with Japanese brands. FuRyu thus joins the list of active manufacturers working with Tetsuo Hara’s license.
Price and exact release date have not yet been announced. The figure will be available exclusively in crane game machines in Japan. For fans in the U.S., it will be accessible through the usual proxy services (Buyee, FROM JAPAN) as soon as it launches.
