Continuing our coverage of the parody manga Hokuto no Ken – Seikimatsu Drama Satsuei-den: the official site Comic Zenon has just published the following update. Chapter 89, which we previewed on May 8, is now available for free, while Chapter 90 is now available as a preview.
Amatsuki’s departure comes to a close
The arc launched in Chapter 89 reaches its conclusion in Chapter 90. As a reminder, Amatsuki, the actor who plays Ryûga in the fictional filming of Hokuto no Ken, had suddenly announced his desire to leave his role, with a mysterious “secret” hinted at behind his decision.
The identity of this mystery character who closes the Amatsuki arc remains to be discovered in Chapter 90, true to the typical narrative mechanics of the manga, which imagines the absurd behind-the-scenes of the fictional filming of the Hokuto no Ken anime as if it were a real television series.
