Banpresto expands its Grandista line dedicated to Hokuto no Ken. After Kenshiro in March and Rei in June, it’s now Jagi‘s turn to join the series, with a release announced for October 2026.
Jagi completes the Grandista line
The figure measures approximately 25 cm, a format consistent with its two predecessors, and rounds out a line designed by Banpresto as a cohesive collection meant to be displayed together. The manufacturer had previously presented Rei as the ideal companion to the Kenshiro released three months earlier.
The choice of Jagi is no coincidence for a line that places particular emphasis on the quality of its sculpting. Where Kenshiro relied on his exposed musculature and his seven scars, the third of the Hokuto brothers offers a very different canvas for expression, with his iconic helmet and massive silhouette.
Like all pieces in the line, Jagi will not be sold in stores but distributed as a prize in Japanese arcade halls and on online crane game apps. The October date therefore corresponds to a gradual rollout depending on the arcade locations, rather than a traditional retail release.
