The craftsmanship of 199X in single-piece form
The accompanying booklet makes no secret of it: this collection is the single-piece adaptation of the craftsmanship Kaiyodo deployed in its 199X Violence Action Figure series. Painted figures approximately four centimeters tall on transparent bases, they carry the same sculptural standards as their predecessor. Distribution is handled by Happinet Robin, with design by Kaiyodo.
First wave, the legend of the savior
The first dan, Seikimatsu Kyuseishu Densetsu, lays the foundation with nine references. Kenshiro leads the way, followed by Rei in two versions, then Jagi, Toki, Yuda, Shu, and Souther. From this stage onward, official repaints are integrated into the numbering as standalone references.
Second wave, from Hokuto vs. Nanto to the Tentei
The second dan, Shito! Hokuto vs Nanto, offers a fine casting surprise. It opens true to its title with Kenshiro and Shin, each paired with a repaint, then Yuria and Rihaku. But the second half shifts without warning into the world of Hokuto no Ken 2, with Falco, heir of the Gento Koken, adult Rin, and Ein.
Third and fourth waves, Shura and the finale
The third dan, Sozetsu! Shura no Kuni, sets sail for the Land of Shura with eight references, among them Kaioh, Shachi, Hyoh, and Han. Finally, the fourth, Korin! Seikimatsu Hasha, closes out the series with eight pieces centered on Raoh and the complete Nanto Goshasei: Shuren, Hyui, Juza, Fudo, as well as Ryuga and the Last General of Nanto.
