Since 2015, SpiceSeed has established itself as the leading studio for Hokuto no Ken resin statues in Japan. Every piece is made of resin, produced in limited editions, and sold via direct order on the official shop or at the studio’s events. Over ten years, SpiceSeed has built one of the most comprehensive Hokuto no Ken catalogs on the market.
Details
An essential studio
Unlike major brands that mass-produce, SpiceSeed works in small runs with dedicated sculptors. Matsuura and Fujita Noriko are responsible for the majority of the catalog. Distribution is handled exclusively through the studio’s online shop and its biannual events, including the SpiceSeed Festival held at Akihabara UDX in Tokyo, a showcase for new releases where sculptors meet collectors in person.
Raoh, the catalog’s cornerstone
The King of Hokuto is the studio’s most extensively produced character, from the spectacular Shoten ver. full color to its Kinpaku gold-leaf variant, along with Raoh riding Kokuoh, helmeted Ken-Oh versions, their second colors, and dedicated diorama bases.
An extraordinary cast
The rest of the catalog covers a cast rarely seen in the figure world. Souther carried on his Mikoshi throne, Kaioh, Toki, Rei in multiple versions including the white-haired Shiraga variant, Jagi solo, as a bust, or on his motorcycle, Yuda all the way to an Antique Gold finish, Shin, Shu, Juza, Mamiya, and even Falco, characters rarely produced by other manufacturers. Find the complete and up-to-date catalog, with availability statuses and direct links to each piece, in our dedicated SpiceSeed article. The SSD line, the studio’s deformed figures, has its own dedicated page.
Kenshiro in multiple versions
Kenshiro spans the catalog in numerous versions: classic resin, Leather Jacket variants in resin or PVC, Indigo Blue and SS Black colorways. These variations in materials and tones reflect the studio’s workshop-level craftsmanship.
