The official website of Hokuto no Ken LEGENDS ReVIVE has announced the rarity upgrade for the fighter “Shachi, Fist That Devours Even Gods”, along with the launch of a dedicated event gacha in SEGA’s mobile game.
A rarity upgrade for Shachi
Starting Thursday, May 14, 2026, players will be able to perform the rarity upgrade for the fighter “Shachi, Fist That Devours Even Gods” (シャチ 神をも喰らう拳). This update will allow players who already own the character to push him to a new power tier.
Shachi, nicknamed Rakshasa (“the demon devourer of Asura”), is one of the most tragic characters in the second part of Hokuto no Ken. He becomes a major ally of Kenshiro and meets his death defending the temple of the secret teachings of the Hokuto Sōke against Kaioh.
A dedicated gacha starting May 15
To celebrate this rarity upgrade, SEGA will launch on Friday, May 15, 2026 an event gacha allowing players to obtain “Shachi, Fist That Devours Even Gods.” The full details of the gacha (free pulls, progression bonuses, cumulative rewards) will be announced soon by the publisher, but the format is expected to follow in the footsteps of the game’s recent LR gachas.
Hokuto ReVIVE continues its journey in Japan
Even several years after its release, Hokuto no Ken LEGENDS ReVIVE continues to receive very active support in Japan with numerous rarity upgrades, LR character reruns, limited-time events, and special campaigns featuring major figures from the saga. The arrival of a new version of Shachi confirms SEGA’s commitment to progressively expanding the roster of fighters from the Shura arc.
