Sega continues to update its mobile game Hokuto no Ken Legends ReVIVE with a new rarity upgrade. After Ryūga last week, it is now Ryūken “the ruthless master” (リュウケン 冷徹なる師父) who becomes eligible for the LR tier, the highest in the game, and makes his return. To celebrate the event, two gachas are launched from June 15 to 23, 2026, including one with a free daily pull.
Ryūken, the master of the four brothers
Ryūken (リュウケン) is the 63rd successor of Hokuto Shinken and the adoptive father of the four Hokuto brothers. He is the one who took in and rigorously trained Raoh, Toki, Jagi, and Kenshiro as candidates for succession, before designating the latter as the 64th heir of the school. His title for this event, “the ruthless master”, refers to the unrelenting rigor with which he forged his disciples.
The Event Gacha, with one free pull per day
The first gacha is an Event Gacha where each pull delivers six items, with one free pull offered each day throughout the duration of the operation. A bonus slot can appear at a certain probability, allowing players to obtain Ryūken “the ruthless master” or other featured fighters with their Shichisei Kaihō (七星解放) tier already unlocked at level 4. Fighters eligible for a rarity upgrade come at UR grade, and duplicates of Ryūken are automatically converted into “LR Fragments”.
The Grimoire Gacha and its guarantee system
The second gacha, the Grimoire Gacha (奥義書ガチャ), allows players to obtain the secret technique books of fighters, in single or ten-pull draws, with no difference in probability. A cumulative gauge fills up with each pull, capped at 200: at the 200th pull, obtaining a grimoire is guaranteed. The gauge is not reset if a grimoire is obtained before reaching the cap, but it does not carry over to other gachas once the session has ended.
Cumulative pull bonuses
Both gachas come with bonuses tied to the number of pulls. The Event Gacha bonus offers rewards, including copies of Ryūken, based on the number of pulls completed. The Grimoire Gacha bonus guarantees the featured character’s grimoire once 300 pulls are reached. Bonus rewards must be claimed before June 24, 2026 (4:59 AM).
